Do you remember my post about a finished piece and I didn't know actually what to do with it? After a while I put this footstool together. Now I am torturing myself deciding to put a cording around or not. I am thinking too much, true? Just need to do it.

ReplyDeleteI think a cord is not overdone at your footstool, but (if you do) choose a very tiny cord. A brocade one in an antique (gold)color, if you know what I mean? You can see my footstool with the embroderied pansies at my blog, if you want to. I mean that kind of cord. A colored one is too much, I think personally.

ReplyDeleteLooks great - and I think you should regard it as finished. A cord would be too much in my opinion, I think practical: Would you want a cord around the cushion when you put your legs/feet on a stool? I think that would not be very comfy... ;O)
