Edwardian Elegance - Work in Progress

Vanessa's dress is fixed and draped, her shoes have heels now, and the doll will be standing. I love this doll and appreciate a lot the fact that she can stand on her own without a doll stand support. Her Edwardian hat and umbrella will be added to the composition later.

I also put a little roombox together with a window today, and even had time to apply Edwardian wallpaper.

Now I am debating: do I want a bigger roombox where Vanessa's bedroom and a part of her office will be showed up or just to go with a part of her office roombox like you see below?

It seems a little bit small for me.

What do you think?

From sunny Spokane,

Natalia

  1. She is a very elegant nice lady. The dress is so beautiful with the black edges you have sewn on. Well you chose her to be standing

  3. siempre puedes dejar esa caja para otro proyecto , por que para lo que quieres evidentemente es pequeña
pero lo que has hecho quedaria muy bien como pequeña sala de costura o de lectura

  6. Dear Natalia,
The room box is very small....and looking at your wonderful doll I think she lives in a bigger house with servants. So I would make a bigger room or dress the doll like she is a servant or poor woman.

  8. Of course you'll need another box :). It's not big enough to put all the wonderful things you make. If my good friend sees your Edwardian lady, she will go wild with love. She's the type who will choose to live in the Edwardian period if she can :).

Natalia, maybe you can have another box combined with this one?

  10. I think the size of the roombox depends on the space you have - if you have enough room to place it, you should make it bigger. Bigger means always more possibilities... ;O) Your doll looks fantastic, and it's great she can stand on her own.

    Greetings

  11. Olá, linda boneca, eu acredito que para o que tu queres fazer uma caixa maior seria bem melhor, te daria mais liberdade de criação. Beijos em teu coração.

  12. Hello from Spain: I love the dress. Now is perfect. I think the box is too small ... but I really like the window and paper. Keep in touch
