Castle - Work In Progress - Day 1 - Floor


Last weekend I felt like start working on my castle - from Rick Pierce's class that was held after the Good Sam show 2 weeks ago.

Yesterday I worked on the floor of the first level. I wanted to see it made from wood


but since I didn't feel like to make my own marquetry yet, I used a marquetry kit from Woodcraft store.


I put pieces together and glued them down. It will dry over the night and then I will sand and finish it.

    I love this floor. I am so envious that you can buy such lovely things in the States. What I would give for a Michael's let alone stores that sell beautiful things like this. You did a great job putting it together. Mini hugs, Carol

    Hi Natalia! The floor is Fabulous and the centre medallion is such a beautiful combination of colors within the pattern. This is truly a beautiful beginning of what will no doubt be a Fairy Tale of a Castle!
