SLOW PROGRESS ON MY CHINESE RUG, CIRCA 1900

Time is flying so fast. I wanted to finish this rug back in February and here is April, I am still working on it. The swastic border is coming together slowely. 49 count silk gauze, Gutermann silk, 1:12 scale.

I bet stitching the motives was more fun than that border - but finally you will succeed... ;O)It looks great and will become a fantastic piece.

Thank you, Birgit! It is always exciting to start a new project. In the middle of the process it is a little bit boring, and at the end I feel like a sprinter: I always pushing my self - the finish line is so close... Natalia
