NEW LOOK ON MY NEW ANTIQUE LOOKING FIRESCREEN

OK, I couldn't wait longer for your suggestions, went and "antiqued" the firescreen. Now it looks like this:

So, which one looks better?

Hi, Natalia! It's beautiful painted white and aged, but I prefer the color of wood.

I really love this "shabby" antique look.

It depends of where you want to display the firescreen. But for me your petit point comes better in the shabby chic .I love how you aged it,really an outstanding piece!Jeannette

Très beau comme cela .

I agree with Jeannette, the colour of the stand should fit with the rest of the furniture - but your shabby chic touch is very well done and supports the beauty of your stitching.

Even though I think you have shabby chic'd the frame perfectly, I prefer the embroidery in the polished wood frame. I guess it is just personal taste as well as where it is to go. :)

I love your shabby chic firescreen and the way you have chosen softer colours to achieve the antique look. Perfect!
