Another Project has been completed. Need Your Opinion...

I finished stitching another project based on my design and don't know what to do with it now. Apparently it was supposed to be a rug in 1/24 scale, but I didn't like something about it.

VARIANT 1.
So, first I decided to make a seat cover for a footstool.

VARIANT 2.
Then, I had a thought to make seat cover for a settee with a phone stand

VARIANT 3.
Then my daughter came and said: "Hm,nice pillow"

So, what do you think? Should I finish it as a seat cover for a footstool, or as a seat cover for a settee with a phone stand, or as a pillow?

I like the footstool the most, I thought of a footstool even before I scrolled down and saw you tried that one.

Have a blessed Christmas with your family!!!

Потрясающая красота! Смотрю на Ваши вышивки и мечтаю создать работу, хоть отдаленно напоминающую одну из Ваших! Оссобенно мне нравятся ковры. Я влюблена в Ваши работы!

I agree with Jeanette, it would make a perfect footstool. As a 1:24 rug I think that the roses were a tad big.
Best wishes, Rosanna

Natalia, if you haven't trimmed the silk gauss yet, how about adding more stitching around the edges to make it fit the dimensions of the seat on the phone stand? If you did that, I think that it would be perfect on the stand.

I so like the foot stool . . . it just hs the elegance a needlepointed foot stool needs.

I feel the pillow looks a little hard, and I think the phone stand would look nicer with something softer looking for long, conversational "sitting."

Hola Natalia porqué no te parece una alfombra 1:24? es perfecta, la variante 2 también es buena
Felices fiestas.

I love your work! I don't see why you don't like it as a 1/24 scale rug. What are the dimensions? To ask your question, I like the look on the footstool.

I really love this style of pattern! I think it is so perfect for the footstool. Very popular in Victorian homes. It is beautiful.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! I hope you have a wonderful time with family and friends!

All three versions look good because your design is pretty - but I'd prefer the footstool, too!

This is such beautiful stitching. They all look great but if I had to choose one it would be the footstool I think. Look forward to seeing what you finally decide. Judith x

Natalia, what a lovely design. I agree that the roses in the pattern seem a little large for a 1:24th scale rug, but it is so pretty and I think perfect for the footstool.

Hello Natalia,
Thanks for your comment on my blog:you were the first blogger!!
I've seen your blog and I'm amazed of what I see, what a fine needlework: magnificant!!
I do hope my English is correct, if not I apologise for that. So I hope I can explain what I wanted to say to you.
About the variants of the fine roses (they are gorgeous), personally I should choose the second variant. Then you see the most of the beauty of your work.
I wish you and your family a Happy, healthy and fabulous 2012!

Have you decided what to do with it yet? :)

I have always loved your footstool and think it great as the seat of one (one day I want to stitch my kilim one :)) but it will just be as special on the telephone seat (which is a more unusual piece and so may be even better) :).

Thank you everyone for your opinions and suggestions. I still haven't decided yet what to do with it. As for the rug, I actually didn't like how the back side turned out, so I need to hide it, :((((.
As for the pillow, - too big, agree?
As for a seat cover for a phone stand, also too big, the lead of the seat is opening and the seat cover is on the way, and there is no way, I will trim the stitched area.
As for the footstool, again the design is too big for that size of the footstool. I guess, I need to build another footstool.
To be continued....
