New Addition To My Collection of Threads

It is hard to call it "collection" since I use all floss I have in my stash. However, today I received a new addition to it - a whole line of Pipers pure silk threads for fine count silk gauze.

Gorgeous colors, limitless possibilities!

I like to have all available colors from a brand, because it allows me to play with the colors the way I want and chose as many for a new project as I am pleased.

Aren't they stunning?

Catherine, I missed the blogerland! Thank you very much, that rug was a real challenge, but I enjoyed working on it a lot. The new silk floss is so calling me, just don't know where to start, :))

Betsy, thank you very much! There were so many incredible entries for the contests and I am still overwhelmed with the judges' decision. I am planning to make a little post about the rug to explain what is behind the whole story.

Ilona, thank you. Being silk floss hoarder, I was so happy, like a child, to get them! Can't wait to start experimenting with them.

I too am a floss hoarder and will have to start collecting these too.

Your pictures show very well the quality of these threads, they have an impressive shimmer. I'm curious to see how they look when stitched.

It is a beautiful floss, Bhooma, requires a little adjustment while using it, but it is worth of investing in it, because of the result it gives at the end.
